The Raja Ravi Varma Heritage Foundation strengthened its presence on the Google Arts and Culture digital media platform.
Coinciding with the launch of Khadi, A Canvas exhibit, the Foundation revised, reworked and re-strategised the content and images on GAC. In its endeavour to preserve, promote and propagate Ravi Varma’s art and to help ensure his legacy remains strong, the Foundation published new content/exhibits in accordance with the Google Cultural Institute’s norms.
Eight new exhibits — An Eye For The Ages, Master Strokes, History On The Wall, Through The Looking Glass, Immortalising Adornment, Genius Of Creativity, In Search Of His Roots and Khadi, A Canvas — were published in October on the 112th anniversary of Raja Ravi Varma.
Besides, 173 items thoroughly vetted and reworked from their original form and content have been displayed garnering more views and to spread the reach of the master artist far and wide.
